Smyrna Arts & Cultural Council Collaborates with South Cobb Arts Alliance

Smyrna Arts & Cultural Council and South Cobb Arts Alliance to collaborate and promote concerts and events at the Mable House Center.

The South Cobb Arts Alliance was established in 1972 and is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  Until 1999 when the Mable House Arts Center opened, the SCAA used the Historic Mable House as a gallery and classroom for art classes.

Today the SCAA is an integral part of the South Cobb area and is one of the leading forces in the arts and cultural environment of Cobb County.  This strength is made possible through the partnership of the SCAA with Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department, Cobb County Board of Commissioners, civic organizations, area businesses and volunteers working toward a common goal - the recognition and support of the area's cultural arts and historic preservation.

The SCAA is located at the Mable House Arts Center, a Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs facility.  Programs presented by the SCAA are held at this facility, on the grounds of the historic Mable House, and at the new Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre.
