3rd Annual Smyrna Schools & Friends Celebrate the ARTS Night Announced

Please join us for a night of art as we celebrate 20 of our local K-12 public visual art programs. Art is a vital and important role in education. Children learn using different methods and ART enhances the process of learning.

Throughout their experience in art, children learn to see more, sense more, recall more, and they become more vitally aware of their changing and expanding environment.

Smyrna Schools & Friends Celebrate the ARTS Night is Thursday, March 15th in the lower level of the Smyrna Community Center. Feel free to stop by between 7 - 8:30 pm to see what our students are creating the art rooms.

This year we have 20 schools participating. Elementary Schools: Argyle, Belmont Hills, Birney, Fair Oaks, Green Acres, King Springs K-1, King Springs 2-5, LaBelle, Nickajack, Norton Park, Russell, Smyrna & Teasley. Middle Schools: Campbell, Griffin, Lindley & Lindley 6th Grade Academy. High Schools: Campbell & Osborne. Charter School: International Academy of Smyrna.

Smyrna Schools & Friends Celebrate the ARTS Night is sponsored by your local  K-12 Public School Art Teachers, City of Smyrna, Smyrna Arts & Cultural Council, Wave of Excellence-Smyrna Public Schools and the Jonquil City Kiwanis Club.
