The Second Annual "Taylor-Brawner Park with Art" concluded
yesterday. The fine art exhibit and sale was sponsored by
the Taylor-Brawner House Foundation. It was held at Smyrna’s historic Taylor-Brawner House from
Friday April 10th to Sunday April 19th. The series of events and the sale were a huge success!
This complimentary exhibit and show featured the work of 23
of the region’s most talented painters, weavers, crystal sculptors, wood
turners and carvers, and all the pieces on display were one-of-a-kind
originals.
The award winning artists hand selected some of their best
works and attendees could both admire and purchase them too. Some of the
featured artists included Claire Colquitt Curtis, Marsha Savage, Barbara
Kincaid, Sarah Monsour, Thom Lillie, Karen Margulis, Wanda Crane, Ronnie Offen,
Richard Herklotz, B.J. Hatcher, Kristina Havens, Sue Dean and Rebecca Brown.
