Atlanta Lyric Theater Presents Spectacularly Successful “Cats” Musical

The Atlanta Lyric Theatre ended a spectacularly successful three-show run of Cats the musical at the nearby Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre today. The production had a cast of 24 actors and was exceptionally well done.

Originally envisioned with ticket sales for the lower lever of the theater only, the upper level was opened up due to high demand. Over 8,000 patrons enjoyed the sell-out shows. The sheer volume of ticket sales for a summertime production demonstrates the local community’s appetite for Broadway-caliber theatrical entertainment.

The Smyrna Arts & Cultural Council will be promoting future Atlanta Lyric Theater productions and we are actively investigating how we can collaborate in the future.
